Coaching is for anyone with intermediate to advanced level language skills, who needs help dealing with specific professional situations using a foreign language.
A dedicated coach helps the learner to meet their challenges and improve their performance. The course is entirely based on the learner's context and objectives.
Our coaches
Coaching courses are carried out by Intercountry's most experienced trainers. As well as extensive pedagogical skills, our coaches have experience in various professional contexts. They are bilingual and their understanding of the subtleties of both languages can help learners facing key professional situations. Coaching goes beyond the time spent with the coach, it is designed to be a real support system, offering last minute editing and advice before a business meeting if needed. The coach is always available to help the learner.
Content
Unlike classic lessons, coaching is a program that is 100% focused on preparing for an intervention (presentation, interview, important meeting, negotiation, etc.). Although the objective is focused on the success of the intervention, the coaching is also an opportunity for the learner to progress in their mastery of the language.
The coach uses documents from the learner (presentation, agenda, report, etc.) to prepare for the session. The content of the session is entirely focused on the practice and repetition of the project. The coach also plays the role of an audience or another participant in the meeting by asking questions and seeking clarification in order to verify that the participant is responsive and comfortable in his expression and understanding. The aim is to provide the participant with full and constructive feedback.

4. Conversation courses
Learners are encouraged to speak English freely on a current event topic: business, sport, leisure, travel, lifestyles, culture, society, technology, etc.
Intercountry's trainers create a friendly and helpful atmosphere which encourages everyone to express themselves.
As a rule, we use articles or videos to prepare for these conversations.
Before the conversation
The learner finds out about the different topics of conversation. They are encouraged to read articles or watch videos to think about the topic from several angles and form their own point of view.
During the conversation
The learners form the heart of the conversation, the trainer's role is simply to begin the debate, encourage everyone to talk and structure the discussion.
After the conversation
The trainer writes a synthesis of the main points discussed along with grammar and key vocabulary.

5. Intensive weeks
The objective of our intensive training courses is for learners to have a positive experience of a foreign language and very quickly feel at ease in international situations.
These intensive courses are designed to give participants that 'click' which will make them more self-confident and willing to try, and so become better able to manage the situations they find themselves in, and to quickly transform their passive knowledge into active usage.
Our approach
We give participants the chance to meet a number of trainers from different countries where the language being taught is spoken. This gives them the opportunity to learn about cultural differences and experience different accents. Each trainer has a specific role to play in the varied and interactive activities that make up the training course, always ensuring the training atmosphere is friendly and helpful.
The five-day programme is carefully planned. At the end of each day the skills that have been covered are reviewed to ensure they have been well understood. During the last day, to ensure they can use all the skills that have been covered and help with the end of training assessment, the learners participate in a variety of situations that put them to the test.

These workshops are designed for people who would like a short, targeted training course, to improve and fine-tune transversal professional skills and their capacity to interact with a group.
We cover a large range of professional themes which are targeted on improving skills such as efficiency in meetings, giving better presentations, visioconferences, writing, negotiation, etc.
The workshops offer a language immersion in a specific context. Participants make rapid progress thanks to carefully planned interactive activities that concentrate on oral skills: spontaneity, improving the use of professional terminology, gaining self-confidence, etc.
A sound pedagogical approach
The workshops consist of both structured and open-ended interactive group activities. We explore the topic both theoretically and practically through playful simulation activities followed by debriefing, corrections and structured clarification.
